Chief Medical Advisor of NeuroMed Virtual Clinic

Hamid Djalilian, MD

Dr. Hamid Djalilian, a distinguished figure in the areas of otolaryngology, neurosurgery, and biomedical engineering, is NeuroMed's Chief Medical Advisor.

Dr. Djalilian is the Director of Otology and Neurotology and Professor of Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine.  His work is expanding the frontiers of medical science and tinnitus research. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed medical papers, authored multiple book chapters, and published several medical textbooks related to hearing and balance disorders.

Beyond his extensive academic credentials, Dr. Djalilian is the President of the Migraine in Otolaryngology Society, driving innovation while promoting neurological well-being.

The NeuroMed Solution is based on the Integrative Neurosensory Rehabilitation (INR) protocol that was developed in Djalilian’s academic clinic. Thanks to the INR protocol, his treatments have helped thousands of patients recover from chronic brain sensitivity disorders, including tinnitus, dizziness, long COVID, migraines, and more.

As Chief Medical Advisor, Dr. Djalilian developed all of NeuroMed's protocols and personally trains all NeuroMed providers. Under Dr. Djalilian’s leadership, the NeuroMed Solution has become a catalyst for profound change in the lives of numerous patients.

Having navigated his own journey as a tinnitus sufferer, Dr. Djalilian's experience treating patients spans over two decades. His personalized and integrated methodology has redefined the treatment landscape for tinnitus and related disorders, establishing him as a preeminent authority in this domain.

NeuroMed Clinical Training

At NeuroMed, every medical staff member undergoes direct training with Dr. Djalilian. This training equips them to employ our integrative medical therapy, which has demonstrated unparalleled efficacy. The NeuroMed approach ensures that all providers have the skill set to provide the best care to our patients, just as if they were receiving care at Dr. Djalilian's academic clinic.

In fact, NeuroMed's clinical program is superior in some ways to those at Dr. Djalilian's university clinic. This is because the wait time to an initial appointment is significantly shorter. Further, telemedicine allows for more frequent visits and a more intense rehabilitation program. Finally, the virtual clinic format permits wellness coaching visits, something that would be impossible at the university clinic.
