Can anxiety cause tinnitus and vertigo without an underlying vestibular disorder?
Anxiety alone rarely causes tinnitus or vertigo, but it commonly intensifies both once an underlying vestibular condition is present. Heightened nervous system arousal increases sensitivity to inner ear signals, which is why anxiety is usually addressed alongside vestibular rehabilitation rather than treated as a stand-alone fix.
